Vision: To get Eindhoven on the map by 2020 as a number one destination choice for international knowledge workers and their families.

Improving the socialization and integration of international knowledge workers and students in Eindhoven is the main goal of The Hub Eindhoven for Expats. We do this by organizing a variety of activities where contact is key! We are looking forward to see you soon (again) at one of our activities!

These activities must fit the varied needs of the target group and are preferably put forward by that group or, better yet, self-organized. This requires a platform that facilitates communication, promotion, locations and funding.

Once the Community has identified and organized itself, the time has come to give it a tangible home in local society. This should become an international melting pot, which also stimulates the local population to discover and share in it. The synergy between this and the city is essential to the internationalisation of society.

Because the Netherlands has many cities that are currently becoming more and more international, the foundation has chosen to set up an umbrella called 'The Hub Holland’ under which each city can form its own Hub. The meaning of a 'hub' is a network space. Hence the name fits perfectly with the objectives of the foundation.

In 2011, Eindhoven started a pilot ‘The Hub Eindhoven for Expats’ that could soon be followed by Den Bosch and Maastricht. The idea looks set to spread like wildfire further across the country. The network uses a central administration to reduce the load on the local organisations.

The Hub Eindhoven for Expats is a non-profit organisation that helps international knowledge workers and students to socialise and integrate into de Eindhoven society.
